CUMaSKini – 5 Sep 2010

Plenty of news for law students this week. Here’s to making the best of the remaining days of our summer holidays 🙂

1. Miscellaneous

1a. Wong and Partners: Message to Law Students

Attention Law Students. Wong & Partners, one of our country’s biggest law firms, is interested in meeting all of the Cambridge and Oxford Law students. They’ve organised a tea reception on the 23rd of September at about 4 or 4.30 pm. Most of their partners will be there in addition to the Joint Office Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer (based in Singapore office). This will be an excellent opportunity to network as there will be less than 8 of you in total(plus its free food :). If you’re
interested, please e-mail Dhruva Murugasu at dm511@cam.ac.uk and he will keep you updated and inform Wong & Partners of your attendance.

If you are due to submit your thesis in the next 18 months, and are interested in an exciting career with McKinsey and Company, why not apply to join the case workshop.  Please register to attend your local case workshop by clicking on the link below, completing the application form and attaching your resume by midnight of Wednesday 15 September 2010.  We will be confirming candidates on Friday 17 September 2010.
