For those who have signed up for CUMaS Freshers’ Formal, you will be receiving an email by tonight confirming your status. Emails will only be sent out to those who have managed to secure a place, but in case anyone (who didn’t receive the email) wishes to clarify his/her status, feel free to email Gen Nen at gnh21@cam.ac.uk.

2. Charming Vietnam Festival 2011

The Cambridge University Vietnamese Society invites you to attend the
Charming Vietnam Festival 2011.

Come and enjoy a unique cultural experience! A vibrant and interactive
showcase of Vietnamese culture, Charming Vietnam Festival features fun
traditional games, arts and crafts making workshops, Vietnamese food,
souvenirs for sale, a lucky draw full of attractive prizes and information
on charities, tourism and travelling to Vietnam.

Location: Wesley House, Jesus Lane, Cambridge.
Date: October 22, 2011
Time: 13.30 – 16.30
Admission: 1 pound (all profits raised go to charity),
Arts and craft making workshops (on the day): 3 pounds
Food voucher (on the day): 3 pounds
Advanced ticket (including all of the above): 5 pounds.

Scientific Malaysian is created as a platform to connect Malaysian scientific researchers across the world to discuss research issues in Malaysia, to promote collaboration and to establish network. Regardless of whether they are in the applied sciences (engineers, biomedical scientists) or pure sciences (biologists, chemists, physicists), anyone involved in research and development is welcome to join our community. Researchers and administrators from the industry are also encouraged to join and contribute ideas and viewpoints from the industrial perspective.
