The Cambridge term has just started. This period of time would be filled with the beginnings of lectures, supervision schedules, and a general struggle to settle in quickly and get back into the solid pace of university life … … but that cannot stop us from having a reunion of sorts for Malaysian students! Our …
Another week, another CUMaSKini!
The Freshers’ Formal is happening today! Hopefully you’ve received your confirmation e-mail for this sold out event. Next up is the Nottingham Malaysian Games, in mid-November. It’s the biggest Malaysian sporting event of the year, so if you’re interested in representing Cambridge, do sign up below! And finally, the Vietnamese Society is holding a Vietnamese Food Festival at the end of October. Between all the food festivals coming up in Michaelmas, it’s probably a good idea to join some sports training for the Notts Games to burn off those calories 😉

A very special welcome to the Cambridge University Malaysia Society (CUMaS)!
If you don’t know who we are yet, here’s a quick introduction: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fe9ldY7Epac.
For those new to Cambridge, we hope you’ve had a great Freshers’ Week! The time to buckle down and start working is upon us, but never fear; CUMaS will be holding loads of events this term to ensure you’re never bored. For those returning to Cambridge, well, you know what it’s like, except this year, it’s probably more difficult. Good luck!
First on the agenda is the Freshers’ Squash coming up this Saturday, where you can meet the freshers and seniors who make up our society. Also, if you’ve yet to join CUMaS, this is the most convienient place to become and member (and enjoy our various benefits!). Once you’ve RSVP’ed for the Squash, have a look at our term card for the coming term (on our brand new website). And maybe, perhaps, have a look at the CUMaS Sponsors for this academic year.
As always, our online Jumble Sale remains open for business.
Finally, if you have any questions or feedback about CUMaS, send us an e-mail.

Things got off to a great start as we went through several hilarious rounds …
